Festival VidéEau

Abertas as inscrições para concurso de vídeos sobre água
Jovens de 17 a 30 anos têm até 15 de junho para inscreverem vídeos no Festival VidéEau, organizado pelo Secretariado Internacional da Água (SIE) com o apoio institucional da Agência Nacional de Águas (ANA). Com o tema “A água, o ser humano e o desenvolvimento sustentável”, as peças devem ter, no máximo, 90 segundos e ser enviadas em MiniDV (NTSC) ou DVD (multizona).

Os três primeiros colocados receberão, respectivamente, US$ 2 mil; US$ 1,5 mil e US$ 1 mil. Os vencedores serão anunciados durante o Congresso Mundial dos Jovens, em Québec (Canadá), entre 10 e 21 de agosto deste ano. Além disso, eles estarão automaticamente pré-selecionados para a competição oficial dos Encontros Internacionais “Água e Cinema”, a ocorrerem durante o 5º. Fórum Mundial da Água, em Istambul (Turquia), em março de 2009.

The Festival VidéEau is an international competition for video clips organized by the International Secretariat for Water (ISW), in preparation for the International Water and Film Events Istanbul in 2009. It is also a part of the "Celebration of Lakes and Rivers" project, a process to raise awareness and involve young people in international citizenship and cooperation for water in Quebec and around the world. The 2008 edition invites young people aged from 17 to 30, to submit 90 second or shorter video clips on the theme "Water, People and Sustainable Development". The winners of the competition will be announced at a ceremony to be held during the World Youth Congress, taking place in Quebec, Canada, from 10 to 21 August 2008. They will also be automatically selected for the official competition of the IWFE.
